This is a piece that had an accidental birth.

I was knee-deep in a project with a looming deadline and for the life of me I just couldn't seem to knock it out fast enough. I was second guessing myself; freezing up; it just wasn't coming together. Finall I said you know what, I need a break. I tossed out a quick fan sketch of Hero's Diary and some other people's characters off of [link] just for fun and submitted it for feedback. Afterwards, I felt rejuvenated enough to finish my original gig and went about my business.

It wouldn't die as a sketch though. Feedback was enough to get my motor running for the need to do a polished piece even though I knew I had other stuff to work on. And I knowing myself I knew I would have that itch burning away til I did something about it. So I did.

packed to the gills with information
this will take a master colorist
to do it justice
and pull one form way from another and the back
ground
would look rock hard
if realist texture and lighting is attempted with the right color scheme
no accident
just furious power escaping
let that dog off the chain and see were it goes bro
